Wallet & Meta Billing

WAPTO supports an optional prepaid wallet for WhatsApp Cloud API usage. This is separate from SaaS subscription billing and from Meta's direct WABA billing.

Official credit-line sharing: Meta Credit Sharing API. Only Solution Partners receive extended credit lines from Meta.

What is NOT supported

Storing a client's card on the partner's Meta Business Portfolio to pay Meta (Tech Provider model requires client payment on their own WABA).
Billing on behalf of Meta without Solution Partner credit line.

Operator setup

Admin → Settings → Wallet tab: enable wallet, set billing mode and markup.
Configure Stripe/Razorpay under Payment Gateways for top-ups.
Review pricing table under Wallet Ledger (Meta base rates by country/category).
Users top up at Frontend → Wallet Credits; sends debit wallet when enabled.
For Solution Partners: set partner mode, credit line ID, and system user token; credit line attaches after embedded signup.

Default: wallet_enabled = false — zero change to existing deployments until enabled.
